Erica Johnson of Newberg earns degree from George Fox University

Erica Johnson of Newberg was among a record 725 graduates who participated in commencement ceremonies at George Fox University in early May. Johnson earned a bachelor of arts in biblical studies degree(s).

The Newberg, Ore., school hosted two undergraduate commencement events for 435 graduates on Saturday, May 3, and hosted separate departmental ceremonies for the 290 graduating from its graduate and seminary programs. Alumnus Richard Foster, author of Celebration of Discipline, returned to campus to serve as undergraduate commencement speaker.
